Quote by Louis Cholden, M.D.

All of nature points to the fact that there is a drive toward integration in each living organism, an inherent force which strives toward the organization of the being. It might be called the integration factor. Its purpose is directed to the optimal utilization of every function. It is the drive for the organism to obtain its highest potentiality. This integration factor is implied in the present concepts of self-realization. It says that human nature contains a drive toward health.

An environment of safety, trust in people and faith in living, will allow the natural forces of health within to flourish.

If some moment of life holds enough safety, the integrative factor can operate.
