Turning Toxins Into Art

March 2, 2018

Watching the work by this artist and scientist, reminds me of the joys I have had in making my own paint, albeit on a much simpler, and smaller scale. They are truly an inspiration, and I would love it, if somehow, we could set this up on Martha's Vineyard, and cultivate the excess of iron, which we see in some of the water here, and use it for artists pigments! Wouldn't that be a wonderful thing to provide for children on the island, paint made from their own land!
