Winter's Veil

September 25, 2018

Amid the depths of winter

This world is beckoned forth

And through a veil we both now gaze

From down below for you, my friend

And from the sky am I

Strangers we, it may now seem

But wait, separated only by a frozen stream

A veil that will lift in joyous Spring

And our heart's, merry, they'll surely be

When once more I can touch thee!
